Storyline
Things then suddenly became worse as the house attacks them and devours Officer Landers alive while sadistically playing with Officer Lister whom it grabbed via branches before eventually tossing him into its mouth. One day, when Chowder's basketball accidentally flew into Nebbercracker's lawn and prompts DJ to bring it back, Nebbercracker ambushes and storms toward him. DJ tries to calm him down, but this does not change Nebbercracker's mind to scare him further.

DJ, Chowder, and Jenny watch in horror as both officers are eaten by the house. DJ and Jenny are knocked into the remains of the lake as a result of Chowder's fight with the house. DJ asks Chowder to lure the house under a crane so he can throw the dynamite down the chimney leading to the heart. The scuffle causes both Chowder and Constance to fall down the hill, with the house falling apart. However, Constance reassembles the house, giving it a more threatening appearance.

Constance was a tall obese woman with short black hair, pale pink cheeks, and grey eyes. Her legs are short with seemingly fat arms, giving her poor ability to reach, run or climb. Horace Nebbercracker, who falls in love with her, eventually rescues her from the circus, and then marries her. Though Constance is happy with her later life, her happiness proves short lived after she falls to her death.

Officer Landers notices that something seems not right as the other one is suddenly driven away by the tree’s roots. Officer Lister taunts the tree, which suddenly, prompts it to move and grab his leg.
Nebbercracker proceeds by lifting him upwards and unleashing several tantrums on his face. DJ is the hero of the piece, and as in most beloved ‘80s-style kids’ movies, he has a fat best friend who serves as the comic relief. Everything with Chowder (yes, he’s even named after food) comes down to his appetite, his clumsiness, his stupidity, or an egregious combination of the three. Chowder gets winded doing some fancy dribbling with his newly purchased basketball, and the same thing happens later when he and DJ are running through their neighborhood.
Running Time:
Outraged, Constance grabs Nebbercracker, intent on killing him as well; fortunately, DJ, Chowder, and Jenny return and fight the house using an excavator. Not much is known about Constance's early life, aside from the fact that she once a circus freak star. Judging from her photos that Jenny and DJ find in her and Nebbercracker's house, it was shown that her extreme obesity was due to her love of food.
Immediately afterwards, Constance’s spirit within the house awakens, and the house’s furnace starts burning on its own. As Nebbercracker is taken to the hospital, Constance possesses the grass on the lawn in an attempt to stop the paramedics from taking him away, and glares at the unsuspecting DJ and Chowder after the ambulance drives off. There, they discovered Nebbercracker’s old explosives and photographs depicting Nebbercracker when he was young alongside his wife Constance when she was alive.
